3、General Description
The XL1583 is a 380KHz fixed frequencyPWM buck (step-down) DC/DC converter,capable of driving a 3A load with high
efficiency, low ripple and excellent line andload regulation. Requiring a minimumnumber of external components, the regulator
is simple to use and include internalfrequencycompensationanda fixed-frequency oscillator.
The PWM control circuit is able to adjust theduty ratio linearly from 0 to 100%. An enablefunction, an over current protection functionis built inside. When short protection functionhappens, the operation frequency will bereduced from 380KHz to 80KHz. An internalcompensation block is built in to minimizeexternal component count.
